One of Donald’s favorite sites is West Coast Sea Glass over in the Pacific Northwest. It’s not hard to see why. They have beautiful sea glass jewelry, supply sea glass and possess a collection of rare pieces which have been exhibited in many museums, galleries and various events.
The driving force behind West Coast Sea Glass are Mary Beth Beuke and Lindsay Furber. They are both serious life long sea glass hunters as well as jewelry artisans who sell their lovely sea glass jewelry across the US.
The sea glass has been hand picked from all over the world by the two artisans and a couple of friends over many years of hunting. They access and comb beaches by hiking and kayaking.
They also share their passion for sea glass. Mary Beth wrote an excellent blog post on The Art of Collecting Sea Glass. She explains why sea glass is getting harder to find and gives tips on the best places to find these beautiful treasures from the sea.
