Donald Verger started with his sea glass calendars a few years back.  The sheer popularity of his sea glass perpetual calendars and annual calendar led him to come up with even more creative projects such as his beautiful book – OF LOVE & SEA GLASS : INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES AND TREASURES FROM THE SEA which is available as a hardback as well as a CD case/stand desk version.

Fresh Off the Presses : All Vermont Birthday Calendars !

Donald is well known for his landscape photography. One of his favorite places to take gorgeous rural pictures is Vermont. He has been working hard at getting two new all Vermont birthday calendars to press :

Now they are both ready featuring beautiful Vermont landscapes in all seasons! The first birthday calendar, Vermont Cat, features a friendly feline in front of a barn, a most quintessentially rural feature.

His other new Vermont birthday calendar has a sunflower gracing the cover. Both new calendars have beautiful photographs which highlight the seasons and the months.  Delightful and useful gifts which last for a long time.

Wooden calendars are a wonderful alternative to today’s sleek electronic devices because they remind us simpler times and makes us appreciate good craftmanship.  Qaaim Goodwin’s desktop wooden calendar is such a marvel.  It’s compact, visually pleasing and a tactile magnet .  But there is more to the design than just its looks.

He calls is a compositional calendar system because it allows the user to configure the calendar in a variety of ways to fit the space or personal preference. The calendar can be displayed either vertically or horizontally.

The wooden slats marking days and months of the year are simply swung or slided out.
