Donald is perhaps best known for his amazing lighthouse photographs. These capture the quintessential feature of the Maine coastline – silent yet majestic beacons among the rocks. The lighthouses shown here are the Portland Head Light on Cape Elizabeth and the Nubble Light on Cape Neddick. Portland Head Light, built in 1791, is the state’s oldest lighthouse.
